Overview
Phase 3 Shadow Priest for BT/Hyjal. Mix Absolution Regalia with spell-power offsets (Leggings of Channeled Elements, Frozen Shadoweave boots, Waistwrap of Infinity). Shadow damage and hit beat crit/haste for most of the phase. You are both a DPS seat and a mana battery via Vampiric Touch / mana return.
Maintain VT/SW:P/MB weaving without clipping. Position for multitarget Mind Flay opportunities and keep raid mana topped via VT. Die less than you DPSed — a dead SP is a wiped caster group.
Caster DPS
Dots
Mana battery
Strengths
Unique raid mana return that enables aggressive caster comps
Strong multi-DoT value on council / add fights
Absolution pieces plus cloth offsets gear smoothly from Phase 2
Weaknesses
Lower personal DPS ceiling than Mage/Lock on pure patchwerk
Mobility and line-of-sight fights punish long Mind Flays
Heavily dependent on staying alive for VT uptime
